A site specific intervention. Inspired by the homes semi visible beyond the old palace walls, noted by the exhibition architects as possibly once housing those who served the palace in the past.
Using sand compacted and made structural in the engineering method of ‘Mechanically Stabilized Earth’, a ramp like structure spans the divide forming a bridge for dialogue and an exchange of narrative between both worlds. Allowing both sides to reach over the wall and beyond the divide.
