A Promise of Breaking

An invitation to break. In this co-authored extension of A Promise of Breaking, the viewer is asked to topple the monolith — the mono-narrative, the rigid idea — leaving a unique carbon imprint behind.

Upon unfolding, the artist responds in ink, drawing out the grain, the ruin, and the imagination the impact has released. Authorship is shared between fracture and line, impact and inscription: each work begins with another's gesture and is completed in dialogue with it. No two are alike.

What was once a fixed story unfolds again — this time written by two hands.
